"Uttarakhand is a land of breathtaking beauty, with its snow-covered mountains, pristine lakes, meandering rivers, and so much more. But sadly, this natural balance is in danger due to deforestation and pollution. That's where Tryambak Foundation steps in.
We're on a mission to protect Uttarakhand's precious forests and wildlife, and we do this in collaboration with Padam Shree Kalyan Singh Rawat Ji, the visionary behind the Maiti movement.
Bugyal Conservation:

As we ascend the mountains, trees become smaller and sparse, leading to lush green meadows known as 'Bugyals' in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. These meadows typically lie between 8,000 to 10,000 feet, marking the tree line's end.
After the monsoon showers, these rolling meadows burst into a profusion of vibrant blossoms, with the growth of plants confined to a specific elevation dictated by the climate. These meadows have long served as crucial grazing grounds for locals due to their lush, nutritious grass.
In an inspiring initiative, Padmashri Kalyan Singh Rawat has designated August 16th as 'Bugyal Conservation Day,' paying tribute to the awe-inspiring beauty of Uttarakhand's Bugyals. This day serves as a call to action, encouraging us all to safeguard this invaluable natural treasure. During August, these meadows undergo a breathtaking transformation, cloaked in a kaleidoscope of colors and filled with the enchanting fragrance of Brahma Kamal.
In a show of unity and commitment to preserving our environmental heritage, the Tryambak Foundation has joined hands with this cause, actively contributing to environmental growth and Bugyal conservation.
